Paul & Kristy 27.11.10

I am totally in love with the bridesmaid's dresses from this wedding in Newcastle on the 27th of November this year... what do you think? Gorgeous or what?

I really enjoyed shooting this fun, funky wedding last weekend. There was the cute puppy that almost stole the show, the beautiful church ceremony, a cheeky bridal party and the most radiant bride in a stunning dress.
Hope you love the photos Paul and Kristy! ~Michelle~

John & Alana

I shot this wedding in Lake Macquarie on the 20th of November this year. It was one of those weddings where I didn't really know what to expect. I had only had a chance to meet with the couple once before and all I really knew about John was that he likes cars and trucks and flannelette shirts. I knew very little about Alana because she was so quiet she barely said a word when we had our initial meeting and I got the feeling she was quite shy.
What I discovered on their wedding day was a sweet, loving couple who showed genuine affection and adoration for each other and a bridal party that made the whole day a pleasant and fun experience for me.
Congratulations John and Alana and thanks for letting me share your day with you.

My beautiful friends, Mr and Mrs Dyson!

On November 6th, 2010, on another rainy day in Newcastle, I was lucky enough to attend the fun and beautiful wedding of Rochelle and Scott Dyson. Rochelle has been a friend of mine since the start of High School (17 years ago!!!) and she and Scott have been together for many years and already have two gorgeous kids who were, of course, a big part of their wedding day. Although the rain stopped their ceremony from being held on the beach, they were fortunate enough to find a great venue in the days leading up to the wedding and it ended up being just perfect.
I need to say a HUGE thank you to my second shooter Zoe, who took over alot of the official photo-taking so I could enjoy spending time with my friends and even have a glass of champagne or two (or 4 or 5... I lost count...)
Congratulations Rochelle and Scott and thanks for letting me be a part of your magical day!
